LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

posted Mar 28, 2017, 4:46 PM by Wolf Swamp PTA

Here's the great news...book circulation in the WS Library/Media Center has gone from 4,346 check-outs in 2012-13 to 12,918 check-outs so far this year (Aug. 2016 - present). That's almost 3 times the number of books being shared by students and families - and the year is only 2/3 done! Phenomenal!!

The bad news...we are lacking the volunteers to get all those wonderful books back on the shelves so that our students can find what they want and need to read. So...please, please, please...consider stopping by the library/media center for a few minutes, an hour, or more to lend a hand. Our students will surely appreciate the help!

Yearbook Chair Shadow Needed

posted Mar 19, 2017, 6:22 AM by Wolf Swamp PTA

Dorothy Martin, who has been creating the yearbook for many, many years, will be moving on next year after her son graduates. It would be great if someone was willing to take this over next year, but also be willing to shadow her this year to understand how this WSRS memory book gets created. Please email ljdesautels@yahoo.com if you have any questions or are interested. Thank you!
